A sample of the patients’ drawings - from the cases presented at the Hlasohled conference

Signe returns to the Czech Republic after her Hlasohled conference in November 2014. The topic she talked about was so strong and inspirational, that we’ve decided to invite her again as soon as possible and offer her more space.

Signe has been working for seven years as a music therapist with seriously sick or dying patients and their families in the Danish hospice Kamillianer Gårdens. In addition she also works with a women’s group and with young people as well as individual therapy at the Centre for the Rehabilitation of Traumatised Refugees. Her experience in working with the dying brings a theme into the Czech environment that is not too well known, let alone clinically practiced. In addition, these findings provide general knowledge about the astonishing possibilities for working with the voice.

Last year’s lecture by Signe was an engrossing experience and her workshop will definitely be remarkable. We have divided it into two parts - on Friday and on Saturday morning there will be the theoretical framework, in which  case studies from clinical practice will be presented. On Saturday afternoon, and then on Sunday the workshop’s practical part will take place with a number of exercises and techniques.
For those who would be interested, there is a PDF download of the presentation from Signe’s November conference HERE, they are available for free (in English).

The workshop will be conducted in English and interpreted into Czech.
