The potential of the human voice is incredible. It has so many possibilities, colours, frequencies, sounds, moods ... The main aim of this workshop will be to personally try out the type of music that can be created using just the voice and the mouth. The workshop will focus on working with voice and vocal improvisation, discovering the possibilities of the human voice and mouth drumming (beatboxing). We will use these vocal elements in a collective musical improvisation and using the latest loopstation - the Boss RC-505 - we’ll record music loops in real time. We will try out various exercises for intonation, improvisational speed and resourcefulness, rhythmic precision etc... The workshop will be adapted to the participants’ requirements and level.
