5–6 April – A Playful Spring Workshop – Petr VÁŠA (CZ)

Petr Váša is one of the most remarkable Czech musicians and performers. He authored operas as well as poems and artworks. His stage presence is very hard to describe to anyone who has not experienced it. Váša has created his own genre combining text, voice techniques and movement, which he calls "physical poetry". His weekend workshop will offer playful exercises for voice, speech and to some extent also movement, all aiming to release and channel a broader creative potential. The workshop can benefit anybody, especially those interested in less conventional musical, theatrical, performance and teaching practices. The workshop is suitable even for beginners and non-singers as in this case singing is really not the point.
