Tamar Buadze was born in Rustavi, Georgia
She graduated from Tbilisi State Conservatory, choir-conducting department after studying singing and orchestra conducting, too. In 1998 she started to teach at Rustavi Music School as a choir conductor and in 2006 she was appointed the school´s headmistress.
In 2002 she started the group Lazare, in 2004 women´s choir Tutarchela and in 2006 boys´ choir Barakoni. As a singer and the leader of Tutarchela she participated in a number of prestigeous European festivals: TFF Rudolfstadt and Stimmen (Germany), Salem and Luxemburg (Switzerland) among others. She has given lectures in a number of schools in Europe as well.
