Beata Hlavenková, a singing pianist, songwriter, arranger and producer. She is one of the most distinctive musicians with an unmistakable authorial style. Straddling genres, she has a deep awareness of jazz, modern classical music, pop and song-writing. In all of her projects she effortlessly blends these styles with a clearly recognizable, focused and sensitive interpretation.

She has several albums under her belt as well as music for film, theatre, children and a number of interesting collaborations with both Czech and foreign musicians.

Beata has worked as a teacher at JAMU, at the Jazz Academy of the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory as well as on jazz courses. She has many years of experience in leading, primarily, individual classes in song-writing, composition, arrangement, piano and the basics of working with the Logic program for American students at the NYU in Prague. She also passes over her experience to children and teenagers in the framework of the MenArt programme.
